Packaging Design
Design That Sells from the Shelf
Your packaging is your silent salesman.
Whether you are launching a new product line or refreshing a global brand, the package is the product in the eyes of the consumer. It is the first physical interaction a customer has with your brand. If your packaging design is confusing or generic, you lose the trust you worked so hard to build.
We design packaging that scales with your business. We combine structural practicality with high-impact visuals to create an unboxing experience that customers remember. From retail boxes to direct-to-consumer mailers, we ensure your product commands attention and reflects the quality inside.
Visual Strategy
Cup of Tea
To organize Cup of Tea’s vast catalog, we developed a 9-color packaging system that categorizes every blend by genre. We applied this visual logic across diverse formats to ensure consistency.
Premium Matcha features stackable tins wrapped in custom patterns, while loose-leaf tea uses a smart labeling system to elevate standard brown bags. By integrating brand icons directly into the label design, we ensured that every package feels premium and cohesive, from the shelf to the counter.

Packaging Design
True Terpenes
To support True Terpenes’ expanding catalog, we developed a dynamic packaging framework that balances consistency with variety. While each product line features a distinct theme, we created a flexible system where unique visuals change to represent specific flavors.
We also developed custom ingredient illustrations to visually communicate the complex aromas. This ensures that every label, from small samples to 16oz bottles, is informative, distinct, and scalable.

Why Great Packaging Matters
In a digital world, physical packaging design is one of the few tangible touchpoints left. It builds value and connection in ways a website cannot.
Command the Shelf: A bold, strategic design grabs attention in a crowded aisle. It stops the eye and invites the customer to pick up your product over a competitor.
Build Trust Through Quality: High-quality packaging signals high-quality ingredients. Customers equate the precision of the box with the integrity of the product inside.
Create a Shareable Moment: The “unboxing” experience is a powerful marketing tool. Beautiful packaging encourages customers to snap a photo and share it, giving you organic reach.
CBD Packaging Design
Green Room Naturals
To define the Green Room Naturals wellness brand, we built a packaging system anchored by their 7-chakra identity. A key challenge was incorporating strict regulatory text across a diverse product line including sprays, roll-ons, and lip balms.
We developed a layout strategy that ensures mandatory legal copy is legible without overcrowding the design. This allows the subtle watermark visuals to remain the focus even on the smallest containers.

Our Packaging Design Process
We take a systematic approach to packaging design, ensuring your product looks exceptional on its own and cohesive as part of a larger family.
01.
Discovery & Alignment
We start by establishing a solid foundation. We review your product specifications and analyze your current brand assets to ensure everything aligns.
We also study the competitive landscape to verify that our new direction will resonate with consumers while carving out a distinct space for your brand.
02.
Design & System Development
This is where we build the visual hierarchy. We design a layout that prioritizes key messaging and develops a unique look that builds upon your existing brand.
We often create packaging “sets,” assigning distinct color palettes to different flavors or variants. This ensures each label feels original yet remains instantly recognizable as part of a unified collection.
03.
Production Prep & Refinement
Once the design direction is approved, we focus on technical precision. We refine the artwork using Adobe Illustrator to ensure all regulatory text is legible and the layout is optimized for printing.
We handle the complex production details, checking bleeds, safe zones, and alignment, so your final files are flawless and ready for the manufacturer.
FAQ
Do you handle the printing?
We are a packaging design agency, not a print manufacturer. However, we act as your technical liaison. We prepare all files to professional print standards and can communicate directly with your chosen vendors to answer technical questions about ink limits, paper stocks, and finishes.
Do I need to have my text and regulations ready?
Yes. Packaging is a legal container as much as a visual one. You will need to provide the final copy, including ingredients, barcodes (UPC), and any government-mandated warnings. We then artfully arrange these mandatory elements so they are legible but don’t distract from the main brand story.
Can you provide eco-friendly packaging design?
Absolutely. We believe great design can be sustainable. We can help you choose layouts that minimize material waste and select colors that work well on recycled substrates or unbleached cardstocks.
