About
Graphicsbyte

Graphicsbyte is a Portland Oregon branding and web design studio. Every project is a one on one experience. Clients work directly with Mark from the first conversation through final delivery. No account managers, no handoffs, no work that loses something in translation.

Everything created at Graphicsbyte is made with care and intention. The studio adapts across industries and audiences without losing a point of view. That range is not accidental. It is the result of over a decade of working closely with business owners and directors who care about getting it right.

The Graphicsbyte logo is a chameleon. That says everything about how the studio operates.

Foundation and Strategy · Design · Website Design

Mark Boehly

I started drawing before I had a reason to. Sketchbooks everywhere, creatures and machines and things that did not quite exist yet. That habit never stopped. It just grew into a career.

I am a native Oregonian, an Eagle Scout, and someone who has always been more interested in the terrain ahead than the path already mapped. That instinct shows up in the work. Deliberate choices, systems that hold up under pressure, design that earns its place rather than decorates it.

My background is in graphic design with a degree from Portland State University. Over the years that foundation expanded into branding, logo design, packaging, web development, and illustration. Not because I chased every direction at once but because each one grew naturally out of the last. Brands need websites. Websites need strategy. Strategy needs a visual language. That chain of thinking is how Graphicsbyte operates.

I work best directly with business owners and directors who care about the big picture. People who want their brand to mean something and their website to do something. That one on one dynamic is not a limitation of running a solo studio. It is the point.

A personal body of original illustrated work lives in the Graphicsbyte shop. It is not separate from the studio. It is proof of how I think when there is no brief and no client. That creative range is what shows up in the client work too.
