From Sketch to Sticker
Like many Graphicsbyte creatures, the raptor dragon began as a traditional pencil sketch. We focused heavily on posture and anatomy, combining the lean, aggressive stance of a raptor with elements of a dragon.
Once the physical sketch was finalized, it was scanned and refined digitally in Adobe Illustrator. Mechanical elements were layered into the organic form, and colors were refined to give the design a graphic novel appearance.
The final artwork retains the raw energy of a hand-drawn illustration while achieving the crisp precision and sharp edges only possible with vector-based digital artwork.
