about the band

Through the power of social networking, we met Blayr, the drummer from Emerald Isle. If you have never heard of this group, they are an electronic metal rock band from Arizona. The group quickly gained the reputation of a must-see live act! The band is equal parts pummeling and catchy with driving guitar leads, devastating drumming, and vocal harmonies. The band released two albums prior to making contact in 2018. New music projects are now in the works.

Spicing up the brand icon

The band was in need of a logo update. They were using a common Celtic Knot Triangle icon as their main emblem. This is also known as a “Trinity Knot.” Blayr wanted to keep the logo they had but make improvements on the design. After a few weeks we created several new triangle circle icons but they all lacked personality. We felt the only way to make this work was to convert the triangle into the bands initials. It was important to keep the Celtic roots so we made sure the initials would intersect with the circle. The band had a dark color palette so this new design was built with a grayscale in mind.
