Getting Started
Before starting a logo project, we like to meet with the client either in person or by using an online service like Google Meet. It’s good to have answers ready for the following questions.
- What is your company/organization/product/service name?
- How long has your company been established?
- Do you have a current logo? If so what don’t you like about it?
- Do you have a company slogan that goes with your logo?
- What is your company about and why was it established?
- Do you have examples of logos you like or sketch examples?
- What colors do you want to see in your brand?
- Who are your competitors?
- What sets your company apart from the competition?
- How do you plan on using your new brand?
- Do you have a deadline?
Additional questions may be asked during the meeting. This helps with personality and incorporating different elements into the design. The next step is to walk you through our contract and discuss payments. We always take 50% upfront and collect the rest when the project is complete.

Our Process
Strong logos take several weeks to build. (often 3 weeks) After the introductory meeting we spend the first two weeks sketching, doing research and building 3–5 different designs. Then we schedule a critique meeting and present all the new concepts to the client. Once a direction is chosen the client will get two free revisions. This is a good time to address colors, fonts, or maybe elements pulled from one design and added into another. On occasion clients might request more revisions. Depending on the situation additional fees may apply.

Finalizing with a Bonus Deliverable!
Once the logo is finalized you will receive a PDF file, various PNG image sizes (transparent background) and a font folder. We also like to throw in a free double-sided business card template. This is a good opportunity to explore secondary graphics that push the brand into a more developed state. Business card designs have the same process as logos. After building a few directions clients will have another critique to discuss card design.
Creating a Brandbook is recommended but will come with an additional fee. This is a PDF file that houses the brand guidelines.
